Ubisoft has unveiled a new roadmap for Rainbow Six Siege, which promises to revolutionize the gaming experience throughout this year.
With a focus on maintaining player interest, the company has confirmed that updates will be implemented every three weeks. These will include a new 1v1 arcade mode, as well as the modernization of three maps per season, starting with Coastline, Villa, and Oregon.
A tremendously ambitious roadmap
The roadmap, which was revealed in a live broadcast, also highlights the introduction of a new operator and the remastering of Dokkaebi, who will receive a new primary weapon. In addition, the ranked play system will be revamped, allowing players to enjoy a more polished experience in their competitive matches.
Among the new features, support for keyboard and mouse on consoles will be implemented, allowing players to face off against PC opponents, thus expanding the gaming possibilities.
The second and third quarters of the year will bring more innovations, including a new casino map inspired by Rainbow Six: Vegas and a second unknown operator that will join the roster. In addition, a “Legendary Division” will be established, where players in the Champion rank can compete in a solo queue mode with an exclusive leaderboard.
Ubisoft has demonstrated its commitment to Rainbow Six Siege, providing a continuous flow of content that not only keeps players engaged but also encourages the community to participate actively.
With the promise of new events and monthly competitions, players can look forward to an exciting year. For those who wish to stay updated on the news, Ubisoft has previously shared a reveal trailer, which can be found on its YouTube channel.
