Despite its mystery and being one of the most enigmatic creepypastas on the Internet, the game was never officially played. However, in an interesting twist within the genre, players can now discover Endacopia, a new title that evokes the essence of Petscop and promises fascination and bewilderment.
A nostalgic and terrifying game
Endacopia is a point-and-click horror game that puts the player in the shoes of Mellow, a boy who finds himself in a chaotic world that defies all logic. His home, or what is left of it, has transformed into a strange labyrinth, where unusual characters like a burlap-covered lizard named Henry and a sentient block of meat accompany Mellow on his journey. These characters, although odd, help make sense of the puzzles that, despite the confusing environment, seem to follow an internal logic.
The challenges that Mellow faces include unusual mechanics, such as mutant clocks that attack the player, adding a layer of tension and surprise to the gameplay. The current demo of the game is available on Itch.io and has been well received, which bodes well for a “coming soon” release on Steam, a highly anticipated announcement by the gaming community.
The puzzles of Endacopia require intuition, combining absurd elements and moments of dark humor, characteristics that reveal a unique twist in the horror narrative. Fans of Petscop and surreal horror games will find in Endacopia an intriguing experience as anticipation builds towards its official release.

Lily’s Ritual will have its world premiere at Grimmfest, a renowned horror film festival that will take place in Manchester, United Kingdom. The choice of this festival provides an ideal platform for the film to reach an audience passionate about the genre, as Grimmfest is known for showcasing innovative and challenging works in the realm of horror.

It’s time for a remake of the first Silent Hill
This move strengthens Bloober Team’s position as a key contender in the horror genre, especially after the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, which has been well received by fans and critics alike. Additionally, the studio has launched a new intellectual property, Cronos: The New Dawn, which sold over 200,000 copies in its first weekend, with PlayStation being its main market.
Rumors circulating in the community suggest that the team may be working on a DLC titled Born from a Wish for the remake of Silent Hill 2, which could be released around the first anniversary of the game, October 8, after the end of its exclusivity with PlayStation. Although these rumors have not been confirmed, fans of the series are eager.
In addition, Bloober Team has expanded its strategic vision, seeking to become a leader in the horror genre by reducing the time between releases and developing large-scale titles. In this regard, five projects in development have been announced, including one for Netflix known as Project N.

Capcom is at a crossroads in the development of its upcoming horror title, Resident Evil 9: Requiem, scheduled for release on February 27, 2026. In a recent interview with IGN during the Tokyo Game Show 2025, director Koshi Nakanishi and producer Masato Kumazama revealed that the team is dealing with “internal concerns” about whether the game manages to convey the necessary horror, given that they have worked on numerous titles in the franchise, which has blurred their perception of horror.
When Your Job is Too Terrifying to Tackle Every Day
Nakanishi highlighted the difficulty of judging the level of terror in the game, commenting, “we have made so many [Resident Evil games] that we can no longer know [if it is terrifying] until someone plays it.” This dilemma has led to questioning the inclusion of sinister elements, such as an amputation, although it was ultimately decided that they were not necessary for the game’s narrative. “At one point, we were like ‘What if Grace suffers a big cut on her leg?'”, Nakanishi recounted, but they concluded that such details did not contribute to the story.
Regarding the direction of the game, Nakanishi indicated that Resident Evil 9: Requiem aims to return to the roots of survival horror, avoiding the more action-oriented approach that characterized installments 5 and 6. The intention is to classify the Resident Evil titles on a scale that ranges from Resident Evil 2, which represents pure terror, to Resident Evil 4, which incorporated more action. “I didn’t want to do that with the ninth title,” said Nakanishi, reaffirming his commitment to focus on an experience that evokes the classic style of the franchise.
With the launch in sight, Capcom is already raising fan expectations with intriguing previews and details about this new installment, which promises to deliver an exciting and chilling experience to players.

Producer Masato Kumazawa has emphasized the importance of removing barriers to entry, allowing new fans to immerse themselves in this rich narrative without feeling overwhelmed by the story accumulated over three decades.
A Resident Evil designed for everyone
In an interview, Kumazawa explained that Resident Evil Requiem will offer nods and connections to the Resident Evil story that will please fans, while ensuring that new players do not feel alienated. “We don’t want people to feel like they have to do their homework to fully understand this game,” the producer commented. Therefore, even those who are not familiar with the saga will be able to enjoy the experience as a horror game set in a ruined city.
The game will focus on Grace Ashcroft, who will be the main protagonist. However, fans are wondering if iconic characters like Leon Kennedy will also make an appearance. Although Capcom has confirmed that Grace is the new main character, it has not completely ruled out the possibility of Leon returning, either as a playable character or in some other capacity.
Resident Evil Requiem will be released on February 27, and its director has expressed his interest in competition in the horror genre, acknowledging that this rivalry stimulates innovation. “I really want to buy Silent Hill f,” he admitted, highlighting the importance of keeping everyone on their toes in such a dynamic market.

This film has captured the audience’s attention since its premiere at the SXSW festival, where it won the Howl of Fame Award and currently holds an impressive 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
A movie destined to be a resounding success
The story follows Indy, a loyal Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, who moves with his owner to a haunted country house, only to discover that supernatural forces want to harm his human. Director Ben Leonberg, along with his wife and dog, undertook a long production process that culminated in this unique film. Leonberg was inspired by the trope of the dog in horror movies, developing a narrative centered on animal behavior in the face of the unknown.
The reception of the trailer has been so positive that the film has moved from a limited release to a wider launch in theaters, something that Leonberg considers a great achievement, although he always believed in the project. “It was an odyssey to make the movie… It was just my wife, my dog, and me for years,” the director commented. The connection between Indy and the audience is undeniable, as he has already been recognized on the street before the premiere. “We went out for coffee and someone asked, ‘Hey, is that the famous dog?'” Leonberg recounted.
The idea of centering the story on a dog comes from the tradition of horror cinema, where canines often “know better.” Leonberg had been working on the script for several years before having Indy, but the little dog quickly became the true protagonist of the film. “We are very happy that Indy is the star of Good Boy, we can’t imagine another dog in this role,” said the director.
When we think of horror franchises, we always think of movies from the 90s and 00s. In the last 20 years, it seems that the ability to create great horror franchises has been lost, with the notable exception of Blumhouse and everything that has come out around the Insidious/The Conjuring universe. But the reality is that there is at least one other franchise that has managed to take off in recent years, and it did so almost unexpectedly. Taking its director to almost instant stardom.
This franchise is A Quiet Place, or Un lugar tranquilo in its original title for the American audience. A franchise that currently spans three movies and a video game, with a fourth installment announced, and whose first two films are now available on streaming services for you to enjoy.
The original movie premiered in 2018 under the direction of John Krasinski. Starring Emily Blunt and Krasinski himself, the film placed us in a terrible situation: civilization has ended due to a species that has invaded us and hunts us down. Fortunately for us, they are blind. Unfortunately, they have very sharp hearing. The film narrates the daily life of a mother and father struggling to raise their children in a post-apocalyptic world where any sound, at the wrong moment, can lead to death.
Using sign language very ingeniously and placing a strong emphasis on the visual, the film stood out for the cleverness of its premise. Here, the terror does not arise from the threat itself, as much as from its presence: everything becomes a potential threat, since the slightest sound can be a death sentence for the whole family. And the film constantly exploits this by putting them in situations where it is difficult not to make any sound. Accidentally or not.
With a modest budget of 17 million, Paramount Pictures must have celebrated with champagne when they saw the numbers the movie was generating. Reaching a worldwide gross of 341 million, even with the insane 86 million dollar advertising campaign they had invested in it, they managed to make it a resounding success.
Even among audiences and critics, it seems to have worked spectacularly. With an 82 out of 100 on Metacritic and a 96% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it is one of the most celebrated films of 2018.
Lowering expectations, but staying strong
A Quiet Place Part II, like any worthy sequel, arrived shortly after. Although not without problems. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they had to delay the release by almost a year, the film’s budget increased to nearly 60 million, and the marketing budget skyrocketed. But with Krasinski back at the helm and his main actors reprising their roles, now adding Cillian Murphy and Noah Jupe to the cast, the film developed the themes of the first one, emphasizing the particularities of the unique universe they had created.
Something that didn’t seem to be enough. Although it was a success, it wasn’t the same success as the previous one. It raised just under 300 million dollars and the critics would be notably less passionate. Although with a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, it would barely achieve a 71 on Metacritic, leaving the feeling that it was a worthy sequel, but perhaps not as impactful and well-rounded as the original.
Its third part, A Quiet Place: Day One, and its video game, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, both premiered in 2024. In both cases, it can be summarized that they followed the path of the previous sequel: relatively low-budget productions compared to Hollywood blockbusters or AAA video games, which did not achieve the success or impact of the original film, but performed well with critics and exceeded box office and sales expectations. These are two more successes for the franchise.
Now the first two movies of the franchise are coming to HBO Max, so you can see if this franchise is really that great. And if you want more, A Quiet Place: Day One is available for streaming on SkyShowtime. Even if you’ll still have to wait a bit to see its fourth installment: until July 9, 2027.

Director Zach Cregger has confirmed the production of a prequel centered on the character of Aunt Gladys, the main antagonist of his recent film Weapons. In an interview with Fangoria, Cregger assured that this project is real and that he has been in talks with Warner Bros. about its development. “There is a story, and I am very excited about it. It’s not a joke,” said the director.
Aunt Gladys is not going to disappear from our screens anytime soon
Gladys Lilly, played by Amy Madigan, has resonated strongly with the audience, quickly becoming a fan favorite thanks to her central role in Weapons, where she uses her witch powers to manipulate normal people into committing acts of violence. Cregger revealed that he already had ideas for this prequel before the original movie premiered, stating that he had the concept “in his pocket” before the audience saw Weapons.
It is interesting to note that, according to previous reports, the original version of Weapons included entire chapters dedicated to exploring Gladys’s story, which were ultimately removed from the final cut. The new film will seek to develop this cut content, offering viewers a deeper look into the origins and complexity of the character.
The reactions to Aunt Gladys have been overwhelmingly positive, with many viewers stating that her presence is one of the best parts of Weapons. Cregger seems determined to capitalize on that attention and anticipation with this new installment, promising to expand the Weapons universe and keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
This announcement comes in a context where interest in prequels in horror cinema continues to rise, which adds an additional level of expectation towards the development of this project. Fans of the movie and the genre in general will be eagerly awaiting more details about the return of the captivating and feared Aunt Gladys.

Accompanied by Crystal Reed, known for her role in Teen Wolf, and Chet Hanks, son of the renowned Tom Hanks, the film directed by Christopher J. Scott promises to explore the dark side of technology and its implications in everyday life.
Well, this is as far as we could get
The plot of Ed follows a conscious driver bot that, under the pretext of public safety, begins to eliminate reckless drivers. The AI’s troubled creator faces the challenge of stopping this bloody wave of murders before the machine evolves and becomes the ultimate representation of the concept of “evil AI.” This approach to dangerous vehicles is not new in cinema, recalling titles like Christine and the recent Locked, which also deals with high-tech vehicles used for evil.
This is Travolta’s first return to horror since his role in Carrie in 1976, although he has explored the thriller genre on other occasions with titles like The Fanatic and Blow Out. Nevertheless, expectations are high for his character in Ed to have better luck than Billy Nolan, the unforgettable character he portrayed in the adaptation of Stephen King.
Currently, E” is in production at Pangaea Studios, where a commitment to bold and emotional storytelling is emphasized. According to Steve Greenberg, a representative of Pangaea, Ed represents the kind of cinematic risk they are excited to take on. A release date for the film has not yet been announced, keeping horror fans in suspense. However, early reviews suggest that this work could be an interesting find in the genre.
