PUBG Studios, along with Krafton, have announced a new game: Project ARC. This will be a 5 vs. 5 tactical shooter, which promises to be realistic and based on the skill of its players and their ability to cooperate with each other. What is its biggest peculiarity? Unlike all the multiplayer shooters we have seen in the last 10 years, it is not in first person. It is a top-down view game.

The premise of the game is simple. You will be on a team of five people who will have to hack the Crypto, a device that is inside a building. To do this, you will not only have to reach the Crypto, but also face a team that will try to prevent you from succeeding.

Switching between the attacking and defending team, the game revolves around attacking or defending the Crypto. And for this, we have a tool: the Decryptor. Which will not only allow us to hack our target but also block doors or create barricades, among other things. All of this, moreover, will be accompanied by the entire arsenal we can expect from any kind of modern militaristic shooter. Grenade launchers, assault weapons, reconnaissance drones, and proximity explosives have already been confirmed for the game. As have two of our favorite tactical weapons, which, if well implemented, make the difference between a good game and an excellent game: smoke grenades and flashbangs.

Project ARC does not yet have a confirmed release date, but it already has a Steam page and a confirmed release for PC. Considering PUBG Studios’ preference for mobile devices and the popularity of their games in Southeast Asia, it would be absurd to rule out a future announcement for its release on mobile devices as well. So we should keep a close eye on this Project ARC because, once again, these are the people who made Fortnite before Fortnite.
