PUBG returns to its origins for a limited time

PUBG returns to its origins with its original map, for a limited time, along with some changes in its mechanics to make it more like its first version.

PlayersUnknown’s Battlegrounds, better known as PUBG, is a game that many people feel nostalgic about. Even if it is still one of the most played games on Steam. It makes sense because its first beta appeared in 2015, as a mod for ARMA 3, and had its original release in 2017. In seven years, it’s enough time for people to feel nostalgic. And PUBG Studios knows that.

For a limited time, the game map that originated the battle royale fever will return to its original state. PUBG will introduce a remastered version of Erangel, called Erangel Classic. They will change the interface, reduce recoil, and increase the TTK to make it feel closer to the original game. It’s an unexpected journey of nostalgia that the most devoted fans of the game will surely appreciate.

However, if you want to play it, you will have to enjoy it while you can. Erangel Classic will be available from May 14th to May 28th on PC and from May 23rd to June 6th on consoles. So, if you are a big fan, you will have to be willing to play it on both platforms.
