WhatsApp is leaking! Leaking your data, that is. Some users are reporting a problem with WhatsApp that is eating up their data. A few have complained that the messaging app has used up to 5GB of data in a matter of hours.
A WhatsApp bug is eating people’s data!
The issue is found in the chat backup function. WhatsApp allows you to automatically back up all WhatsApp items including conversations, photos, videos, and documents as regularly as every 24 hours. WhatsApp files are uploaded to Google Drive or iCloud so that you can then delete them from your mobile.
This latest WhatsApp bug interrupts the upload process and causes it to begin again. This means that a never-ending upload cycle is triggered, causing a constant consumption of user data. If this happens outside the house then that means mobile data is on the hook and WhatsApp will keep using it until there is nothing left.
Another version of the bug sees all data being backed up rather than just the data from the last 24 hours. This isn’t quite as bad as a continuous loop, but if you think about all the media you send and receive over WhatsApp, you know that this can still be bad enough.
The best way to safeguard against this WhatsApp leak is to make sure WhatsApp only ever backs up your files over Wi-Fi. To do this go to Settings then Chats and tap Chat backup. At the bottom, you’ll find the Back up over option where you can select Wi-Fi only. It is probably safest to do this until news of a fix comes out.
Google Assistant has just received a nice little update that will make it easier to use. Google wants Assistant to help you get through your day. To help Assistant do this the new update makes Assistant much more visual.
The Assistant collects data like hotel reservations and flights, package deliveries, scheduled appointments (meetings, doctor, etc), reminders of pending payments, etc. from the various Google products you’re using (Gmail, Calendar…). It then combines this with environmental information like traffic and weather to provide up to date personalized instructions.
The update puts all of this information together in one place and offers users a visual snapshot of their day. According to the Google blog:
“Travel times are front and center, so you know when to hit the road whether you’re getting ready for work, a lunch meeting, or heading home for the night. As you scroll down, you’ll see your agenda, reminders, restaurant or movie reservations, your favorite stocks, upcoming bills, packages in transit, and suggestions for new Actions you should try.”
If you’re an Android user and you have the latest version of Google Assistant you should find the new visual snapshot icon in the top right of the screen when you open Assistant. iOS users will find the new feature in the Google app on their iPhones.

Octopath Traveler may be the newest Square Enix game, but it plays more like a classic RPG with some modern twists. The gameplay is a combination of classic JRPG turn-based mechanics, as well as a unique Boost Point mechanic. The story gets inspiration from the classic Canterbury Tales: there are a large number of archetypal heroes coming from all walks of life, each with their own tale; but with a more modern take on those story elements. Even the art is a modernization of an old style. It’s a unique take on 2D art that the creators refer to as “HD-2D”. This game has a lot to offer to both old and new fans of JRPGs, and below we have a few tips to help you on your journey:
Choosing your first protagonist
Octopath Traveler features a diverse cast of characters. Like classic Square Enix games, each character features their own abilities and benefits. You’re able to switch out your party at-will, with the exception of the protagonist you choose. This means you’re going to want to be careful in who you pick for your protagonist. Of course, you can choose based off their story, as each is unique and different. But you may want to consider their abilities if you are worried about being able to beat your first playthrough.
For example, Tressa, the merchant, has an easy time getting money and gains the ability “rest” fairly early. With those in mind, she’s one of the easier protagonists to start the game with. If you’re looking for something more challenge, you may want to choose Therion, the thief. It’s fun stealing from people, but it he can be a bit weaker than the other characters at the start of the game. Primrose, and H’aanit require a bit of extra attention to detail, since they use NPCs and summons to fight for them. Likewise, Cyrus and Ophelia are somewhat complex characters. Cyrus has some good early benefits, but both are fragile and may take some adjusting to their playstyles. Inversely, Olberic and Alfyn can make great starting characters, since they are more forgiving than most of the others.
Obtaining and choosing secondary jobs
Each character in Octopath Traveler has a primary job that determines their stats and abilities. These jobs are correspondent to their professions. For example, Ophelia is a Cleric, which lets her using healing abilities and light magic. As you progress through the game, you’re able to give your character’s secondary jobs, by visiting special shrines dedicated to each one. You’ll want to go to each to gain access to all of them, and decide which one fits best for your characters. While you are able to obtain the jobs of the eight main characters, you are also able to obtain four secret jobs as well. These aren’t obtainable until much later in the game, however.
Unlocking the secret final boss
You’re probably not thinking about the final boss of this game as you start playing it, but you may need to do some things along the way to unlock it. There are two side quests you’ll have to complete before the final dungeon can be entered (along with beating the game with all eight characters). Ravus’ Manor in Boulderfall has a guard who starts one of the quests. His name is Alphas, and you’ll meet him again in Saintsbridge. The other quest can be completed by helping out an injured boy named Kit. You’ll meet him at the beginning of the game, and have to help him a few times in Noblecourt and Moonstruck Coast. Once you’ve completed both quests and beaten every character’s story, you’ll be able to go to the final dungeon by talking to the Impresario in West S’warki Trail. Both quests you can do while completing the other character’s stories, so just keep them in mind while you play through the game.
One of the greatest joys in life is kicking back on the couch with a friend and playing video games. The hardest part? Settling on what to play. The PlayStation Now streaming service offers a huge variety of titles available to play instantly, including many that offer local co-op. These are the best games for when you’re looking to team up and kick some butt.
1. Resistance 3
If you’re a fan of action-packed first-person shooters, this is the game for you. Resistance 3 is set in an alternate-reality version of 1953 after a hostile alien invasion decimates Earth. The entire single-player campaign is playable in co-op mode. The drop-in drop-out feature makes for a low stakes co-op experience, and means you won’t have worry about replaying the same sections if your partner has to leave for a minute to get some pizza. The action is fast-paced and a diverse list of creative weaponry offers unique ways to fight your way through the alien horde. The story is also surprisingly deep and will keep you hooked all the way to the bitter end.
2. Resogun
Resogun is perfect for fans of bullet-hell shooters. In a lot of ways, Resogun feels like the neon-drenched older brother of Gladius. Players choose from a selection of unique ships, and then the action starts. Lasers, powerups, and boss battles abound. Though only two players can take control at a time, Resogun has the makings of an excellent party game. If you’ve got a group of friends over, passing around the controllers as you try to fight your way through the levels makes for incredible amounts of fun. Also, the killer soundtrack would make the perfect background music for any party.
Though it may seem like a kid’s game at first glance, Lego Star Wars is fun for anyone at any age. Players can drop in and out at any time, taking control of Lego versions of classic Star Wars characters or building their own characters from Lego bricks. As a team, you can solve puzzles and battle your way through levels from all six original Star Wars movies. The Lego games offer their own brand of lighthearted humor and poke fun at the series in a way that will get a laugh out of any Star Wars fan. Who knew Chewbacca looked so good in a top hat? If Star Wars isn’t your thing, a whole host of other Lego video games are also available on PlayStation Now, ranging from Harry Potter to Indiana Jones to Batman. The best part? Every single game in the series offers couch co-op.
4. Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 5 is the first game in the series to offer split-screen co-op play, and it’s certainly one of the best. Players control B.S.A.A. agents Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar as they attempt to stop a viral outbreak in Africa. This game is like a more action-oriented, multiplayer version of Resident Evil 4. Playing through with the story with a partner is the best way to experience the game. Fighting through the horde and taking on the game’s horrific, intense boss battles with a friend at your side makes the victories that much more satisfying. Several other co-op Resident Evil games are also available on PlayStation Now, such as Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil Revelations 2.
Borderlands 2 has everything you could want from a co-op experience. Borderlands is the love child of a first-person shooter and an RPG. The best part of this game is its customizability. Players can choose from four character classes and level them up with unique skills and abilities, meaning there’s something here to fit everybody’s play style. Whether you prefer hanging back and sniping from afar or getting more up close and personal, you can tweak your skills and gear to fit how you prefer to play. You can also save your characters, meaning the next time your buddy comes over, their character, skills, loot, and skins will all be right where they left them. Borderlands 2’s story also stands out, and there’s plenty of hilarious moments that will leave you and your friends in stitches. This is the perfect game for a night in. Make sure you have plenty of snacks handy.
With a huge variety of titles and co-op games to choose from, PlayStation Now offers something for everyone. Now that you’re armed with this list, the hardest thing you’ll have to decide on is what toppings to get on your pizza.
Everyone should make a budget. They give you a secure understanding of your financial situation and can help plan for a deficit of funds or ensure that expenditures are below income. Whether you’re looking forward to the next financial year, going on a vacation, or planning a wedding, budgets are there for one thing: to help you make the most of your cash!
Despite the benefits, it’s not hard to imagine why many people don’t make budgets: working with numbers on a spreadsheet or paper can be seen as boring or time-consuming. Neither of these things needs to be true! Open up Google Spreadsheet and get ready to change your life.
In Google Spreadsheets, you are given the option of a few templates, two of which are “Annual Budget” and “Monthly Budget”. Both provide easy tools which will help you track your funds.
Annual Budget
When opening the Annual Budget, you’ll see a spreadsheet with multiple tabs. We’ll go through each, explain the easy process for using it, and finally discuss how to quickly and thoroughly analyze the results!
On this first tab, enter your starting balance. This may be however much you have in savings, or it could be the maximum amount you wish to spend for the year.
The next tab is for expenses. Simply fill in either how much you spent, or how much you plan to spend in each area:
The next tab is income, and works much the same as expenses:
Finally, once this is finished, you can check out the summary page!
Before looking at the data below, check the graph. It quickly shows you where your income and expenses are, and where your initial balance has ended up.
If you haven’t already, now’s the time to ask questions like: where do I want the gray line to end up? If it’s falling, am I okay using up savings this year? If it’s going up, do I want to spend the extra money, keep it the same, or save even more?
If you’re okay with the results, great! If not, it’s time to head to the summary below the graph. Here, you’ll be able to see how you’re spending and earning money. The more you understand about your own cash movements, the easier it will be to figure out what needs to change to achieve your financial goals.
Spreadsheet’s Monthly Budget option looks a bit different, but works generally the same. There are two pages to work with, the first being “Summary”:
Here, you see the change in Starting Balance. Below, you also get a very simple and effective summary of expenses and income.
However, you probably should go to the second page, where the transactions are actually entered:
Once all the information is in place, you’re ready to head back to the summary page. As with the Annual Budget, look at what’s happening to the Starting Balance to make sure you’re where you want to be. If not, there’s no shame in that. Just check your transactions and see what can be done: either lowing expenditures or increasing income. You’ll be back on track before you know it!
Option 2: Make Your Own
If you don’t like the templates that Google provides, you are able to create your own. Both Spreadsheets and Drive offer the ability to create a blank spreadsheet document, at which point you can develop to your heart’s content.
Remember, the most important aspects of a budget are: what money is going out, what’s coming in, and what’s the overall change? From there, you can add all sorts of bells, whistles, and analyses.
Last Words
If you create a budget for past events, you may need to get help from your bank to remember what was spent/earned. On the flip side, when you’re creating a budget for future events, avoid this issue by keeping track of spent cash!
If you haven’t joined the online community of a game, you’re missing out on something special. There are a number of ways to do it and there are a whole lot of game communities, but joining the team almost always feels great. Almost always, because let’s be honest, some communities are, well…
That being said, gaming alone and gaming with a community is the difference between celebrating your birthday alone or grabbing pizza with the squad. If you haven’t already, we’d recommend giving it a try!
Choose a Method
As we’ve said, there are tons of ways to join a community, which makes it difficult to create discussable categories. But we worked together three pretty solid sections: console, online, and in-person communities.
Console
Many consoles like PlayStation and Xbox allow users to meet, collaborate, and communicate over games.
For example, Microsoft provides every game on the Xbox with a “Game Hub”, where users can collectively discuss, post videos, develop Clans, and create Group Requests, which joins the players in a party chat. Altogether, these abilities work great for games like Halo 5, where cooperative “fireteams” of Spartans go head to head in futuristic battles. Depending on those involved, the teamwork involved can bring teams together as friends.
So, whatever game you’re playing, make sure to check what your console offers. You may discover long-time teammates or a few buddies you can talk with to make gaming a bit more fun and friendly.
Also: many games, Fortnite especially, allow users to meet in-game. Here are some articles that discuss the topic more in-depth.
The main question to ask is, what do you want? There are many online resources that help communities gather, and even more application that can be used for the same purpose. Here are a few:
Reddit. Commonly called “The Front Page of the Internet”, this site offers numerous discussion pages, called subreddits, for literally anything. If you’re a game, make a Reddit account and subscribe to r/gaming. Do you have a specific game you enjoy? How about r/halo, r/bloodborne, or r/breath_of_the_wild? The downside to Reddit is that although posting, commenting, and discussing works well, it may be hard to find a specific group of people.
Facebook. A classic. Facebook excels at allowing users to create small or large groups. Thanks to the personalization, this makes it easier to plan events or work together, rather than posting memes. On the other hand, Facebook’s relative intimacy means you may need to search a while for the right group for you.
Twitch. This site does more than let you watch games: the following, commenting, and friending services enable the development of community like the other sites we’ve mentioned. However, in contrast with Reddit and Facebook, Twitch takes users right to the games with live feed videos of players. This hands-on style may be up your alley.
If a site wasn’t mentioned, we apologize. Please mention it in the comments below and remember: you don’t need to tie yourself down to one website. Most users have accounts on multiple sites. What matters most is what works best for each person!
In Person
Despite being in the communication age, meeting face-to-face can still create one of the best gaming experiences.
Keep an eye and ear out for opportunities in your community. Yes, it’s possible that nobody in your area actually plays the games you enjoy… but that’s highly unlikely. More often, you can discover fellow players through conversations about your interests. A number of gamer clans have been developed by adults who met in the office!
For the younger crowd, schools create the perfect environment to meet friends. If you’ve tried to discover teammates with no luck, consider making your own club or event: schools are often glad to accommodate student-run activities. With a little initiative, you may bring together a group of fellow gamers!
The second half of 2018 is gearing up to be a powerhouse. We’ve got AAA releases coming left and right, so let’s not miss a beat and get right into the 10 best games coming in the second half of 2018.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy (September 21) (PS4, Xbox One)
The Insomniac Games creation is emerging after a long hiatus. The Developers at Toys for Bob have worked from the ground-up to bring Spyro in all its HD glory to the current generation of consoles. If you’re a fan of the original or nostalgia or both, look out for this game this fall.
Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor-Martyr (July 5) (PS4, Xbox One)
Even though we are a few days past its release, Warhammer games are always a treat. Inquisitor-Martyr places you into the role of a Space Marine aboard the Martyr, a massive ship floating in space. With near top-down gameplay, it is very reminiscent of Diablo and early Warcraft titles.
We Happy Few is a very intriguing concept for a year dominated by Battle Royale. It’s a single-player survival experience set in a dystopian town where the populous is sedated by the upper-class. Flying under the radar as an early-access game on Steam, We Happy Few will be released in less than a month, so make sure to pre-order your copy.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 (August 31) (PS4, Xbox One)
Divinity: Original Sin II is not your typical action-adventure game. The concept errs towards high fantasy and plays much similar to Inquisitor-Martyr and Diablo. The graphics are stellar and, even though the learning curve can be steep, it’s worth giving this sleeper a chance.
A lot of hype has been surrounding Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man reboot. Most recently, a gameplay trailer was released which revealed the villains set to challenge Spider-Man at every corner. Spider-Man will boast a slew of new abilities and be able to interact with his environment in surprisingly unique ways. This is definitely a game to purchase if you’re a fan of the MCU.
Assassins Creed: Odyssey (October 5) (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
Riding the success of Assassins Creed: Origins, Ubisoft Quebec has been hard at work on yet another chapter in the series, this time taking their stories to the land of Ancient Greece. In Sparta, you have the option to take control of either a Male or Female character during the Peloponnesian war and fight to become the most notorious mercenary in all of Greece.
Red Dead Redemption 2 (October 26) (PS4, Xbox One)
One of, if not, the most anticipated game of the year. Rockstar consistently releases quality titles and Red Dead Redemption is no exception. Set as a prequel to the first game, you take control of Arthur Morgan, an outlaw involved with the Van der Linde gang, and fight for survival against whatever the Wild West throws at you.
Overkill’s The Walking Dead (November 6) (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
Overkill’s new product is a Left for Dead-style game set in the comic book universe created Robert Kirman. The most recent title about the Comic was created by Telltale Games, so Overkill has some large shoes to fill. The game itself looks to be more survival oriented than run and gun, so be on the lookout for heart-racing gameplay and terrific graphics.
As we approach the end of the year, Bethesda is blessing the gaming community with another addition to the Fallout series. Fallout 4 was a triumph in more ways than one, but it also lacked in a few departments, mainly quest diversity. Fallout 76 looks to fix those issues and bring the community closer together by creating servers for players to enter with up to 24 to 32 other players. Bethesda claims the map is four times the size of Fallout 4, so you might be hard-pressed to find another player.
More destruction. Better physics. Extreme weather conditions. A release date near Christmas. What more can you ask for from a Just Cause entry? Avalanche and Square Enix are in South American once again, following Rico Rodriquez on his quest to rid the world of oppressive regimes. The physics engine has been taken to the limit with tornados uprooting bridges and sandstorms pushing helicopters off the tarmac. Just Cause games are designed to be adrenaline-filled fun and a new entry into the series is very welcome.
With over 140 champions, it can be a bit daunting to decide who to play in League of Legends. Whether you’re new to the game, or have been playing on and off for years, you may be struggling with this decision. Below are champions for each position in league that are not only easy, but will help you learn a lot about the game. If you’re looking to play in ranked, these champions are always good, so don’t be afraid to pick them up.
Garen is the perfect champion for new players who want to try out the top lane. He’s in a group of champions called “juggernauts”, who are able to deal large amounts of damage while being able to tank as well. The big drawback to these champions is that they struggle against ranged champions, since they don’t have much range themselves. Thankfully, the top lane is usually filled with melee champions, so juggernauts typically an easy class to start learning with. And Garen is one of the best there is. He has a large amount of AoE damage with his E, but can also stay safe thanks to his W and his passive. His passive is a large amount of health regen, while his W is a spike of damage reduction. His abilities are simple, but strong. This makes him a perfect champion for those who are looking for an easy and effective beginning top laner.
Dr. Mundo: 450 BE
Some other options for top lane are Dr. Mundo and Nasus. Both are juggernauts as well, with their own unique benefits. Mundo is particularly similar to Garen. He has a similar passive (increased health regeneration), and an ability that causes a field of damage around him over time. He also doesn’t have mana, his abilities cost health instead. But don’t worry, his passive and ultimate (a burst of health regeneration) will keep you healthy.
Nasus: 450 BE
Nasus, on the other hand, is all about one ability. Every time you kill a minion with his Q, it gains additional permanent damage. These stacks of damage scale infinitely, so you can get a crazy amount of damage in the late game. It’ll take some practice to master killing minions, but that practice will help with learning to kill minions on other champions. By gaining damage this way, you can build yourself as a tank, and become unkillable while still being able to do a lot of damage.
Jungle
Nunu: 450 BE
If you are unfamiliar with the MOBA genre, then the jungle is probably the most confusing position to think about. The other positions are pretty straight-forward. Top, mid, and bot go down their lane to kill minions and take towers, while supports provide utility for the team. Junglers, on the other hand, are less straightforward. Thankfully, there are champions that make it easier to learn this role. And none are better at doing that than Nunu.
The three things that junglers need to do are: kill jungle monsters, take objectives like Dragon and Baron Nashor, and killing enemy laners (aka ganking). Nunu is particularly skilled at the first two. He is able to kill monsters faster than most champions with his Q (which also heals and buffs him). He also has buffs and slows to help him attack enemy junglers who are trying to take the objectives he wants. And despite being a tank, he has the highest damaging ultimate in the game. If you don’t understand how the jungle works, Nunu is the best champion to teach yourself.
Warwick: 450 BE
While Nunu is more focused on fighting in the jungle itself, Warwick tends to focus on ganking the lanes. Once he’s killed a few jungle monsters, he’ll be strong enough to jump into a lane and try to kill the enemy laners. His W gives him increased movement speed towards low health enemies, while his Q lets him jump to them and do a large chunk of damage. He also has one of the best crowd control abilities in the game called a suppress. His ultimate lets him leap in a direction, and if he lands on a champion, he steals life from them for a short time, while they are unable to do anything. He’s also much tankier than other damage dealing junglers, so it’s not as harsh if you mess up a bit with him.
Shyvana: 3150 BE
Shyvana is somewhere in between Nunu and Warwick when it comes to the jungler’s role. Like Nunu, she is able to take objectives quickly (specifically the dragon, which she does increased damage to), and like Warwick she is able to gank effectively. Her ultimate turns her into a dragon and increased the damage and utility of all of her other abilities. She’s incredibly strong in this form, and can easily take on enemy junglers like this. She can also use this form and her W to escape if things get a bit too tough for her.
Annie is often considered best champion for beginners, regardless of lane. And there’s a good reason for that! She has a lot of damage, an easy combo to learn, point-and-click abilities, a very long stun, and a giant bear. She gets a charge of her passive every time she uses an ability. Once she has four charges, her next ability will stun whatever enemies it hits. Her Q is a fireball that deals a lot of damage. If you kill a minion with it, then it refunds the mana spent on it. This is part of what makes her so easy. Mages sometimes have a hard time killing minions early in the game. But with Annie’s Q, she’s able to do it as well as any other champion. It also stacks her passive, so it’ll end up giving you a free stun after you’ve killed four. If you’re looking for an easy champion to help you learn the game, Annie is by far the best choice.
Morgana: 1350 BE
You may have noticed from the previous champions, but some of the things that make a champion good for beginners is being: ability to kill minions easily, ability to crowd control other champions (stun, snare, suppress, etc) and being safe/hard to kill. These are also what makes Morgana such a great champion. While some choose to play her as a support, because she has a long snare, and a shield from enemy crowd control, she is just as effective in the mid lane. Her shield keeps her safe, while she is able to quickly and easily kill minions with her W (an area of damage over time). If you want to learn to play safely, or just enjoy not dying, then Morgana is probably the best champion to play.
Zilean: 1350 BE
While Zilean is probably the most complicated champion on this list, he is also the most forgiving. He places bombs with his Q that detonate after a short time, or by placing a second bomb on the first one, that also causes enemies in the bomb radius to be stunned for a short time. He can place the second bomb by using his W, Rewind, that reduces the cooldown of his Q and E. His E is a movement speed boost which is great for escaping and chasing enemies down. The best part of his kit, however, is definitely his ultimate. It lets him place a buff on himself or an ally. If that champion dies while the buff is on them, they are revived after a few seconds. With this, Zilean is able to keep himself and his allies alive and safe while doing a good amount of damage. As stated, he’s a bit complicated, but if you mess up his abilities, you can always escape with your E and your ultimate.
Bot Lane
Ashe: 450 BE
Whether you’re new to League or a veteran player, you probably played as Ashe when you first downloaded the game. She is the tutorial champion, and that probably explains why she is on this list. Similar to Garen in simplicity, Ashe is always easy and effective. Her abilities aren’t complicated, and that’s a big benefit to the people who play her. She is also one of the only bot laners who is useful even if you fall behind. Her ultimate is one of the best utility moves in the game. It’s a stunning arrow that can travel the entire map until it hits someone. She’s also able to slow enemies with her auto attacks and abilities, which is great for learning how to attack while running away from someone (kiting). She’s not always the best bot laner, but she is always a useful one, and definitely worth learning.
Sivir: 450 BE
Sivir fall into a similar category as Ashe. They are referred to as “utility marksmen”. This is because most marksmen (also referred to as ADCs or bot laners), don’t have utility abilities. This means that if they die a lot in the early game, they are unable to do much of anything later in the game. While there are some other utility marksmen (such as Kalista and Varus), they are much harder to learn than Sivir and Ashe. Sivir is able to kill minions quickly and easily with her W and Q. She also has a spell shield to keep her safe, something no other bot laner has. Along with this, her ultimate is a burst of speed for your entire team, which can help you escape or engage your enemy. Like Ashe, she’s always useful, and really easy to learn.
Ezreal: 4800 BE
While most marksmen do their damage with their auto attacks, there are a few who do damage using their abilities. The easiest and safest of these champions is by far, Ezreal. Unlike the other champions on this list, his damage is mostly based on skillshots. But don’t let this scare you, his are fairly easy to land, and he’s a great champion to learn to use them on. This is because his E is a blink that lets him jump over walls and other terrain, while doing some damage to nearby enemies. He can use this to escape, so he can continue to use his skillshots from a safe distance. He’s a little bit expensive compared to the other marksmen on this list, but he’s definitely the safest one League has to offer.
Support
Soraka: 450 BE
Support characters in video games are often associated with healers, and none are better healers in League than Soraka. She has the best healing abilities in the game, while also bringing a lot of unique utility. Her ultimate is particularly useful, as it heals every ally champion regardless of where they are. Unlike most supports, she’s able to use this to support from anywhere on the map, making her really effective and easy as far as the healers go.
Sona: 3150 BE
While Soraka has some damaging abilities, she’s mostly valued for her healing. Sona is the opposite of this. She can heal and buff her allies, but her main strength is in her damage. If you’re looking for a support that deals damage, Sona is one of the easiest and most effective champions at doing this.
Braum: 6300 BE
Not all supports are healers, and Braum is a great example of this. He is a defensive tank that can use his shields and crowd control to keep enemies away from his allies. His abilities are centered around saving his allies, and stunning the enemy to turn fights around. If you want to play support, but are not a fan of healers, Braum is an excellent choice. He is, however, the most expensive champion on this list; so it may take you some time to get him if you want to try him out.
