FromSoftware’s games are famous for their high difficulty and intricate lore, phenomena that have generated intense theories and debates within the gaming community. A clear example of this phenomenon occurred in Bloodborne, where fans were intrigued by a door that remained closed for weeks, leading to multiple speculations about its possible opening.
An impossible door to open
The community focused on a door in the Cathedral District, which, unlike others that could be opened with keys or by progressing in missions, displayed the message “Closed” when trying to interact with it. This riddle led some players to develop theories about the existence of a future DLC or hidden secrets, attempting various actions to unlock it.
The mystery was unveiled by the content creator illusory wall, who through a video on YouTube demonstrated that the door was connected to another area. However, a member of FromSoftware later confirmed that the door had been removed for lore reasons, describing it as a kind of joke to the players, hinting that what could have been a shortcut would result in disappointment.
This episode had a notable impact on the community, which remained active in its attempt to decipher its meaning.Interestingly, in the Demon’s Souls remake for PS5, a mysterious door also appeared, but like in Bloodborne, the secret behind it was revealed in a less exciting way than many expected.
FromSoftware games continue to fuel players’ fascination, who passionately engage in the quest for new secrets and enigmas, even though the outcome may often not be as grand as hoped. In this sense, speculations and theories will remain an integral part of the gaming experience.

Recently, an increase in interest for Battlefield 6 following its official reveal has attracted the attention of scammers who are sending phishing links disguised as invitations for game testing. According to Battlefield Bulletin, fraudulent ads have been detected on Instagram promising access to these tests, but in reality, they are attempts to steal Steam accounts. These deceptive offers include descriptions that seem taken from an official ad, such as evaluating game features and testing server infrastructure.
The leaks keep happening with the game
A fraudulent announcement even refers to Battlefield 6 as an early access game, which is clearly incorrect. Players are warned not to click on these links, as legitimate invitations for testing are sent exclusively through EA’s Battlefield Labs website. Therefore, it is essential for users to stay alert and be cautious of these types of phishing tactics.
Amid this wave of fraud, many legitimate leaks about Battlefield 6 have also emerged, providing valuable information to the gaming community. Extensive gameplay segments, details about the release date, and aspects of vehicle combat, as well as more conservative-looking character designs have been shared. Additionally, a dataminer has discovered that the new title will include an iconic campaign mission, as well as a battle royale mode, two elements that have been very popular in the franchise in the past.
Fans must distinguish between authentic leaks and scams. While enjoying legitimate information, it is vital to completely discard any suspicious trial offers to protect their accounts and personal data.

The official presentation of the Nintendo Switch 2 has been marked by controversy, especially after the release of a first trailer in January 2025. During CES 2025, several accessory manufacturers, including the company Genki, showcased models that presumably were based on the actual design of the new console. This sparked a wave of speculation that forced Nintendo to take measures to protect its next-generation product.
A disastrous situation for Nintendo
Recently, Nintendo has decided to take legal action against Genki, alleging that the company has capitalized on public interest in the Switch 2 without authorization. According to court documents, Nintendo claims that Genki used “online leaks” to create mock-ups that, according to the company, misled consumers regarding their access to the actual design of the console. This situation escalated when legal representatives from Nintendo visited Genki’s booth during the event, where it was indicated that the company’s statements about the origin of its mock-ups were “contradictory and inconsistent”.
The videos of these models went viral, causing confusion among attendees at CES and specialized media. In response to the demand, Genki has issued a statement saying that it is “taking the accusations seriously” and working with legal advisors to provide an appropriate response. Despite the situation, the company reaffirms its commitment to innovation in gaming accessories and intends to continue with its production plans.
As events unfold, the gaming community is paying attention to the legal implications that this dispute may have on the industry, and is questioning to what extent the embarrassing interest in the new console could be affected. The controversy surrounding Genki suggests a small fracture in the relationship between hardware developers and accessory manufacturers, which could have long-term repercussions.

A Bethesda developer has reportedly revealed details about the highly anticipated The Elder Scrolls VI, suggesting that the game could be completed within two years and that it will be set in Hammerfell. Since the teaser was presented in 2018, it has been seven years since the game was officially announced, making the estimate of two more years of production seem reasonable.
A new navigation mechanic to explore new areas
Among the highlights of the alleged leak is the exploration ship, which will allow players to visit new islands. This new content would be possible thanks to a medieval shipbuilding mode, which will use technology already seen in Bethesda’s upcoming title, Starfield. This focus on navigation could mark a significant change in the gaming experience within the universe of The Elder Scrolls.
However, the credibility of this information has been questioned by some fans on Reddit. Among the concerns expressed is the peculiar insistence on the ship and naval construction system, something that seems unusual for the series. Some users have argued that many of the details presented in the leak have circulated before, making their veracity uncertain.
Despite these doubts, expectations remain high. Bethesda has not made any recent official announcements about The Elder Scrolls VI, but the studio is expected to take advantage of events like the Summer Game Fest to provide more information. It is speculated that the development of other projects, such as the remastering of Oblivion and the Fallout television series, could serve as a boost to reveal more details about this highly anticipated title.

Documents related to art, design, and development material for Pokémon have been released following the massive teraleak, prompting Nintendo to take legal action. The company has requested a court order from Discord to identify the user known as GameFreakOUT, the alleged hacker behind the leak. This individual is accused of having accessed confidential information from Game Freak, the developer of Pokémon, and of having shared a valuable treasure trove of content, which includes development sprites, concept art from the original 1997 anime, design lore, and meeting minutes from the company.
The hacker is praying that Discord does not grant
According to Polygon, Nintendo has filed a petition in a California court for a subpoena under the DMCA that would compel Discord to reveal the identity of GameFreakOUT, which could include name, address, and other contact information. This request marks a first step that could result in serious legal consequences for the leaker. Historically, Nintendo has shown to be very protective of its intellectual properties and has been willing to take legal action against those it believes have crossed the line.
The case of Gary Bowser, who was sentenced to three years in prison and fined millions for selling software to modify Nintendo consoles, illustrates the company’s firm stance on copyright issues. Although the consequences for GameFreakOUT are unlikely to be as severe, given that it has not financially benefited from the leak, the case could take a complicated turn if legal action is taken.
A previous case related to Pokémon leaks also resulted in a lawsuit, where the leakers were ordered to pay $150,000 each. Given the magnitude of the teraleak, it is very likely that Nintendo will seek a strong response to deter future similar incidents.
Before the end of the year, we need to settle accounts. Do you want to know more about Nintendo Switch 2? We know some things about Nintendo Switch 2. To be fair, nothing official. Before the year ends, we need to settle some accounts. Do you want to know more about Nintendo Switch 2? We know some things about Nintendo Switch 2. To be fair, nothing official. We know the things that have been mentioned here and there, but that’s our job: to bring you everything in an organized and sensible way, so you don’t go crazy. And that’s what we’re going to do. Tell you everything we know so far about Nintendo Switch 2, but emphasizing an important detail: practically everything we know is speculation.
Notice to navigators. Although it is impossible for this information to become outdated before the end of the year, as we are going to discuss, it is possible that in a couple of weeks some of these things may be confirmed or denied. We have no way of knowing. But we think it’s important to establish a point from which to have a picture of the current situation of all the information we currently have about the console. And what its possibilities are.

What is the name of the Nintendo Switch successor?
Officially, nothing is known. Nintendo still calls it “the successor to Nintendo Switch”. For now, everyone who has leaked any kind of information refers to it as Nintendo Switch 2. And given the resounding failure that all the abrupt name changes and strange experiments of the last generations have entailed, it seems like a sensible assumption.
What kind of hardware will it have?
Again, we don’t know anything officially. What we do know from leaks is that the console will have an 8-inch screen, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of hard drive space, a microphone, built-in stereo audio, and magnetic joy-cons. Additionally, it is expected that the drifting issues present in the current joy-cons will not exist in this Nintendo Switch 2.
What we do know for sure is that the console will have a Nvidia chip. And most likely, according to Digital Foundry, it will use a Nvidia T239 chip, a reduced and customized version of the Nvidia Orin T234. How did they find out? Thanks to a hack that Nvidia suffered, where they referenced this chip in relation to Nintendo.
What would this chip specifically contribute? Without going into too much detail, we would be talking about a chip that would have power equivalent to the PlayStation 4 Pro. It wouldn’t be a generational leap like that of Microsoft or Sony, but it would have 4K capabilities, or even make use of DLSS technology, if Nintendo so desires. It would be a considerable leap compared to what we currently have with the Nintendo Switch.
What does the console look like?
We have seen many leaks, none too credible. But what we have seen that we have no reason not to believe are the leaks of accessories for Nintendo Switch 2. The impression they give is that it will be a console very similar to the original Nintendo Switch, only larger, and perhaps with small changes in the button layout. But currently, except for a render of the console itself that may or may not be indicative of the console, we do not know its actual appearance.
When will the console be released?
Nintendo Switch 2, as of the publication date of this article, does not have a release date.
Will it be possible to play Nintendo Switch games on the new console?
According to what they have said at Nintendo, yes. Although they have not confirmed whether it will only be digital games or will also include physical games, or if there will be any kind of limitation, in principle, the software will be completely backward compatible. And given the similarities between the hardware of both consoles, there should be no reason for them not to be.
Now, it is possible that we do not have to wait until the last moment. A user of the social network Weibo, named 荷姆荷姆喼, has leaked the possible presentation date of the console. According to him, using the Fibonacci sequence to make things more exciting, the presentation would take place on January 8th.
How reliable is this? This user already revealed the games that would be presented at the Nintendo Direct in June 2024, so they have some credibility. Even so, it’s better to take it with a grain of salt. It’s possible it will be presented that day, but it’s also perfectly likely that it won’t. But what is certain is that, before the end of the first quarter of the year, we will know at least the first details of the new Nintendo console.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is a franchise of adventure and action video games that follow Raziel, a vampire who must seek revenge against Kain, lord of the vampires.
We live in the era of remasters, remakes, and reissues. Why allow us to access the games we already have, or sell old games at reasonable prices, when they can convince us that they need a facelift to be enjoyable and charge us full price for them? That’s why it’s not surprising when remasters are announced. Remakes already dominate everything. It’s the new market strategy not only in the video game industry, but in our modern culture, and we have to accept it.
Another pattern that has emerged is that most of these games are leaked to the public. The vast majority, in the most ridiculous ways possible. Although it may seem that the era of the big leakers in whom one could blindly trust has come to an end, that does not mean that leaks have stopped happening. San Diego Comic-Con exhibitor has proven so.
At the San Diego Comic-Con, an impressive Soul Reaver figure was presented, showing Kain and Raziel fighting. Next to it was a sign indicating its origin: Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver I & II Remastered. This is quite peculiar, since neither of the two Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver games has been remastered to date. In fact, they haven’t even been announced.
If you don’t know Kain and Raziel, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is a franchise of adventure and action video games that follow Raziel, a vampire who must seek revenge against Kain, lord of the vampires. With a unique aesthetic, a deep and interesting narrative, excellent level design, and a story and lore that spans across multiple games and sub-franchises, it is one of the great cult games of the late 90s and early 00s. Today, it is almost forgotten due to the change of hands of licensing and problems with its original creators.
Shortly after the photos of the figures were taken, the sign was removed and it is no longer possible to find it anywhere at San Diego Comic-Con. With these figures announced for next August, it is expected that we will soon have more information about the game they are inspired by, especially considering the importance that these two games have for an entire generation.
¿Se ha filtrado un nuevo Jet Set Radio? Pues todo apunta a que es posible que sí, aunque todavía no está confirmado, y no se saben más datos al respecto.
Jet Set Radio is a Sega franchise that, although it was never among the most popular, does have a strong cult following. Those who like it, love it. And it’s not for no reason. It exudes style, glamour, and its gameplay is nothing short of excellent. That’s why, even if it didn’t manage to captivate the general public, it was highly successful in reaching a specific audience. Although now, it looks like it’ll have an opportunity to reach more people.
According to a Twitter user named MSKAZZY69, a remake of the original Jet Set Radio is reportedly in development by Sega. According to him, it would be a remake of the Dreamcast game and wouldn’t be related in any way to the F2P reboot that Sega had already announced in the past. He says that his source is Midori, the influencer who recently deleted his Twitter account.
Along with the tweet, we can see included four images and a video of what appears to be a remake of the original Jet Set Radio, with a less-stylized character design, although with a very similar artistic design. Although it claims it would be a direct remake, the presence of a city map suggests that it could be an open world of some kind.
How legitimate this leak is is something we can’t know. This person has not leaked anything before, and their source cannot confirm or deny what they’ve said. But, if true, a remake of the original Jet Set Radio would be very interesting.
One of the first games to use cell-shaded graphics, Jet Set Radio combines action and platforming in a three dimensional environment, allowing you to use your in-line skates to grind around levels to collect spray paint cans so you can tag (spray signs) around the level.
According to a reputable horror game leaker, Resident Evil 9 could be announced imminently and have its release within less than a year, if nothing changes.
Capcom is aware that Resident Evil is one of its biggest franchises. That’s why it’s not surprising that they have been alternating between new titles and remakes in recent years. With very high quality, always exceeding expectations, they know how to work with the material at hand. Last year they gave us the Remake of Resident Evil 4, so it would be logical for the next game to be a new installment of the main franchise. And according to a famous leaker, that’s exactly what’s going to happen.
According to Dusk Golem, a specialized horror game leaker, Resident Evil 9 should be just around the corner. Capcom should be announcing it soon, with the most likely release date being in January 2025. Although this second part has not been able to confirm it with complete certainty, it seems to be the current plans of the Japanese company.
I have good news/rumors to deliver on Resident Evil 9. The possible delay I had heard murmurs about can be pushed aside. RE9 should be revealed pretty soon & release next year. If what I heard previously holds true, should be in January. It'll have had about 7 years in dev.
— AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem (@AestheticGamer1) May 3, 2024
The interesting thing about this is that Resident Evil 9 began its development, as far as we know, in early 2018. Being a possible Resident Evil 8, they started Village as what would finally be Resident Evil 8, but not without some setbacks. The game would at some point become a spin-off of the franchise, to finally end up being the eighth installment. Which means that Resident Evil 8 and 9 have been developed at the same time.
According to Dusk Golem, this would be absolutely normal. Resident Evil games are approved in groups, in order to maintain their almost annual release schedule, and in 2018, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil 8, and Resident Evil 9 were all in development at the same time. However, each of them was in a different stage of development. Another group of Resident Evil games was approved early last year.
Described as the most ambitious Resident Evil to date, if these claims are confirmed, Resident Evil 9 would be the game in the franchise with the highest budget and development time. This makes our expectations even higher for this new iteration of the world’s most famous horror franchise.

Last year, Xiaomi launched its new range of mobile phones, the Xiaomi 14 series, in China. Those of us who have been Android users “since we were little” were eagerly awaiting the release of the 14 series in the rest of the world, especially to avoid importing the phone from China, paying customs duties, and then formatting the device with a custom ROM. What a hassle.
And this will be on February 25th, the date when we will be able to buy the 14 and 14 Pro models from Xiaomi… But they won’t be the only ones. The website Android Planet recently revealed that Xiaomi will also launch an Ultra version of this range, which can be purchased with a discount coupon at least from the official Xiaomi website in the Netherlands.
While up to this point nothing was known about this new model (apart from the fact that it will be more expensive, as we all expect), a recent leak of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra renders, published on the website MySmartPrice, shows us how this new and shiny mobile will look, as well as some of its features.
To start, at least one version of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a leather back. This will include a round and huge camera module from the brand Leica, which will be surrounded by a silver bezel on the outside, as well as a golden and a black bezel.
Both the power button and volume controls of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be located on the right side of the phone. The device’s power button will have a textured finish to improve grip and feel. In addition, it can be observed that the left side of the device will be completely clean, except for the mobile antenna marks located on both sides.
The position of the speaker grille and main microphone of Xiaomi 14 Ultra changes compared to the design of Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Both will still be located at the bottom of the device, next to the USB-C port, but in alternate positions. Interestingly, the top part shown in the renders only shows the secondary speaker, without any trace of the secondary microphone and the infrared emitter (which does not mean that they will not be included in the final version).
Beyond these images, there is not much more information available about this new model from Xiaomi’s 14 series at the moment. But don’t worry, the 25th is just around the corner and we will know much more soon.
